Someone I work with is hooked on one of those web based MMO games. This one (appropriately to Zombie Nexus) is all about Zombies! Very Happy Its a very simple game, but seems fun enough, and has quite a community (and wiki) going. Its all free of course. If you start playing, I'm holed up on my own in the Pankhurst Building over in Molebank, brandishing my trusty fire axe at the 5 Zombies that are trying to get into my well barricaded building. Eep!

I have been playing this for about a fortnight now, and although it is simple (and quite often boring), it also has a strange addictiveness about it.

I've thus far died 6 times, been transformed back into a human once, and am currently staggering around as i attempt to gain 100xp to get a zombie skill. I have vigour mortis which gives extra chance to hit.

Didn't think there'd be enough interest to post about it myself! Smile

Theres also a space-based one called starport which I had a go on, and despite it being more polished that Urban Dead, got bored with it very quickly... worth a look though if you like space exploration games!

Dude, its about Zombies.. and this being Zombie Nexus and all... need I say more.

Anyway, I'm heading east now. Had a cloase call with a Zombie who broke into the Pankhurst building, despite a cop helping me secure the building. Grabbed a couple of first aid kits from a hospital, and am holed up in a Junkyard. Managed to avoid any zombie's on the way, so I don't think I'll have any trouble through the night... well I hope not, but I'm alone again and its getting dark.

its more fun being a zombie... unless you're well armed, low level 'survivors' are utterly useless at combat. 10% hit chance for 1 damage? i'd do better sneezing at a zombie.. Smile

I started as a zombie, so i got extra skill at start. i thought i'm gonna die anyway, so I might as well start with the bonus!! the only bad thing is, as a zombie you can only make a load of groans, and are unable to say BRAINS!! Sad

i've just died AGAIN! and yup, another headshot!! the game is too unbalanced with massive-level survivors. I tend to spend 1/2 my AP every day just getting up from yet another headshot - they need to fix this pdq! Evil or Very Mad
