Linux.com have posted a review of the latest Firefox release. The main improvements to Firefox 2.0 seem to be session restore, RSS implementation and tabs.

Ho-hum, I've been using it at work and its basically got functionality built in now that it always lacked, thus I don't need so many extensions to bring up the functionality on-par with Opera 9... but I'm still unimpressed with Firefox. Its great for development, and its still better than IE (but the gaps much smaller now IE7 is out), however its still not as good as Opera as a browsing experience. _________________ Quote:"The question is not whether or not you're paranoid, its whether or not you're paranoid enough.'' Having the extra functionality built in is good providing they don't add so much as to bloat it. It helps to have a better "out-of-the-box" experience to people who are not so happy to go look for extensions.
I really should upgrade both FF and Opera and spend a bit of time investigating for myself at some point when not so busy. Currently tho I am wary about updating FF as last time I did it broke the Tidy plugin which is the main reason I use it at home. _________________ Whedon: We will rule over this time slot, and we will call it... Hey NightSpirit.
I also use Firefox for my internet usage.
It works fine and much better than older version of Firefox.
